Castle and Citadel
The largest fortified citadel in Sicily, over 7 hectares of history. Inside the Ancient Cathedral (1608) and the MuMa — Sea Museum. 10 minutes on foot from the apartment.
Beaches and Cape Milazzo
Ponente Beach 5 minutes on foot, Baia del Tono and the spectacular Venus Pool — a natural pool at the very tip of Cape Milazzo, an 8 km promontory in the Tyrrhenian Sea.
Aeolian Islands
The port is 15 minutes on foot. Hydrofoils and ferries connect all 7 islands: Lipari, Vulcano, Salina, Stromboli, Panarea, Filicudi and Alicudi. Perfect for day trips.
Local cuisine
Fresh fish, arancini, Sicilian granita and Etna wines. Just steps away you'll find La Campagnola, Macchianera and many other typical restaurants. The pedestrian area is the heart of evening life.

History and Culture
Founded by the Greeks in 716 BC, site of Rome's first naval victory (260 BC) and Garibaldi's battle (1860). The Sanctuary of San Francesco di Paola is the only one in Sicily dedicated to the saint.
