The Castle and Citadel
It is the largest fortified citadel in Sicily: more than 7 hectares of history. Inside you can visit the Ancient Cathedral (1608) and the MuMa – Sea Museum. From the Attico Panoramico it is about a 10-minute walk.
Cape Milazzo and the Venus Pool
Cape Milazzo is a promontory about 8 km long reaching out into the Tyrrhenian Sea. At its very tip lies the Venus Pool (Piscina di Venere), a natural pool and one of the most spectacular spots in the area.
Beaches
Ponente Beach is a 5-minute walk from the apartment, and Croce di Mare beach is also just a few minutes away. A little further on is Baia del Tono.
History and culture
Milazzo was founded by the Greeks in 716 BC. Its waters saw Rome's first naval victory (260 BC), and in 1860 Garibaldi fought a battle here. Also worth a visit is the Sanctuary of San Francesco di Paola, the only one in Sicily dedicated to the saint.

On the table: fresh fish, arancini, Sicilian granita and Etna wines. Near the Attico you will find restaurants such as La Campagnola, Adagio-Adagio and Macchianera, and the pedestrian area is the heart of the town's nightlife.
